Rookie Hannah Starzynski is over 500 km from home.
The newest Turbo is attending University of Waterloo for Earth Sciences specializing in Hydrogeology. What is Hydrogeology? It involves studying a combination of geology and groundwater. This is a coop program and although it is a four year program, it will take Hannah five years to complete due to her work terms.
Hannah started playing ringette when she was 7 years old. Hannah played for both Nepean and Ottawa Ringette Associations. When she was U16 she travelled to Finland to compete in the Lions Cup playing teams from both Finland and Sweden. Winning a bronze medal was just a bonus to this ultimate ringette experience.
In 2015/2016 season, Hannah played on the Eastern Region AAA team, winning Silver. During that season she also played on the Cambridge Turbos U19AA team!
Hannah is very excited to be a Turbo and the Turbos are very excited to have her. The colour Orange seems to be her colour.
Welcome to the Turbo family!
